Housing Options

Most people would consider a traditional home to be a single-family detached dwelling on a tree-lined street. The reality is a home can be so much more. Buying a home is a life-changing milestone so knowing what best suits your style and needs is important. Here are some home options to consider.

A single-family detached home is what most people envision when thinking of a home. It’s a free-standing, stand-alone house built on a single lot. These homes can include a yard, basement, and garage, and are usually owned by the tenant. Some styles of single-family homes include bungalow, colonial, and ranch.

A condo, or condominium, is a home in a community of buildings. It’s similar to an apartment but there is no landlord and each tenant owns the unit.

A townhome is an appealing home option. It’s conjoined units that share at least one wall. They are also individually owned by the tenant.

Financially, there’s lots more to consider (think HOA fees, etc.) so if you have questions, feel free to give us a call at 949-356-6400.
